Terrain

Saturday:

Plateau with steep drops at the rim. It is an arid area, partially covered with stinging nettles.

Sunday:

The competition takes place on a single mountain ridge of the "Schwaebischen Wald" in an altitude between 450-540 meters. The mountain (more likely a larger hill) has plateau at the top and a medium steep decline in all directions. There are a lot of small valleys and streamlet.

The forest consists mostly of naturally grown coniferous trees, with parts with denser growth. This leads to different runabilities and somewhat unclear population borders.

In the southern parts of the map there are still two completely destroyed areas from the storm "Lothar". They will not be crossed by the courses and marked purple as dangerous area on the map.

In the south (direction of the finish) there are open areas with fields, acres and pastures.

Insurance

Insurance is the responsibility of every competitor. There is no liability (except of already existing insurances) from the organizer and/or owner.

Arrival

Saturday: On the autobahn A7 take the exit Aalen-Westhausen, follow the signs to Aalen. Take the bypass to the road B29, then follow the white signs with "Ostalbskilifte" and/or "Limestherme" and park the cars there.

Sunday: From Murrhardt the way to the competition area will be marked with signs.

The competition areas are forbidden for participants of the WCQ. Participants seen in the area are expelled from the WCQ..
